Certification is a two-step process. First, you take the certification course and written test. Following that, you complete a practical test as described in the course. Once those two items have been completed, you are then Certified through the AGCV.
No, it isn't a requirement, but it certainly does help you to better understand what you're seeing taught in the course.
That is definitely helpful. But our course teaches you various video productions fundamentals as well.
